Anyone mesh modded their Aquamedic Turboflotor 1000 Multi?

I just added the mesh mod to my ocean runner pump on my Turboflotor 1000 multi, now its got the superfine bubbles but its overflowing the collection cup. I removed the waterflow dials to drop the level of water but its still foaming too much. I dont treat my water with any chemicals and never had this before now. I am using it in hang on mode as I dont have space in my refugium.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Bret

There is one person who did this mod too to make it work he added a jebo skimmer body to the turbo 1000. This made it 6 inches taller and stopped the overflows and from his pics it skimmed like a beast.
