moving from a 30g to 55g tank...transfer water?

I was wondering is this a good idea; to just siphon the water from my 30g tank to my 55g? Would that be good, or not really matter because I would have to add more sand and rock starting another cycle?

yeah use your water, no reason not too.

i wouldnt get the mucky stuff at the bottom, but yeah use it.
