Closed loop intake???

Just curious if anyone has ever had problems with closed loop intakes sucking in fish or inverts? I am in final preperation for my loops now and I just thought about this occurring. I can drill the tank, or go over the top, if one is less prone to this than the other. Thanks

What size pump are you planning to use for your closed loop? I have a dart pump, and to prevent this type of thing from happening I have two, 2" bulkhead inlets tee'd into the pump feed with strainers on each.

I will be running 2 seperate loops. They suit my system better than 1 Dart. They will be Mag 18's which will be plumbed into 1" bulkheads.
