Pan World Pumps, anyone?
My Iwaki 100 crapped out on me and I was thinking of trying a Pan World 250PS in its' replacement.
Anyone have and use any of the Pan World Pump models? Have they been reliable? Thanks

Mine's great as of now. I've only ran it for a short time, but it's suppose to be a good runner for long periods.

I've had mine running for about seven months (55PX-X) and I couldn't be happier with it. The fan mod makes it pretty much dead silent.

There are a few mods (do a search), but the main thing is to take the plastic guard off the fan. That alone will cut a lot of noise. Others have removed the fan itself, and then strapped a computer fan onto the end via PVC.

Mine has been running now with no problems for 8months. However, I need to investigate some of these mods further.
So remove the plastic cover and replace the fan??? |

Yeah I'm defiantly looking for a pump that is not as loud as my Iwaki was. I think I'll have to give Pan World a shot...maybe try removing the plastic cover too, etc...
