External Overflow Boxes

Can anybody provide me with some links to external overflow boxes? Some pictures would be nice also. I would like to see how it is attached to the tank. Keep in mind, I do not mean the HOB type overflow. Thanks in advance.

Most of the time these are external coast-to-coast style overflows, is that what you're talking about?

This is how my new tank is getting setup (though with two drains and not four). It normal glass attached with silicon and the water will flow through the "U" that is cut into the glass.

Thats a great picture. Did you do that tank yourself? Another question I had was, if you painted the background black would the silicone show? Of if you painted it first, then would the silicone/overflow box stick to the paint?

On my acrylic tank the overflow(s) are complete 4 sided boxes that are bonded to the outside wall of the tank. The builder demonstrated the strength of that bond by lifting the entire 400 gallon tank by lifting on the overflow box!

I did not build that tank myself, it was a shot from the builder from one of he previous tanks. The silicon might show through but I'm covering the entire back wall with a foam/rock wall so that didn't really concern me. Even without the wall, coralline would cover everything eventually anyways.
