Anemone all wrinkled
Since the last post about my anemone all he really wanted I think is some food. He sure does like to eat a lot.
There has been a slight change in his habitat. There is some green hair algae growing around him and I changed power heads. There is some decent flow in my tank now. Question is could either of these changes cause him to wrinkle? I mean he still looks full, but just wrinkled. Thanks. Last edited by mangelo; 08/15/2008 at 04:59 PM. |

Um, You should have gotten a younger permanent press anemone
jk, I'm not an anemone expert but my experience is that it's a normal part of their routine to expand and contract. If your water parameters are in line, it's color is good, and it's taking food then I wouldn't worry too much about them wrinkles. |

Have you tested the water? The tank appears to be high in nutrients, but that's impossible to know visually. Any measurable nitrate/phosphate levels?
