how often to change my pc bulbs

hello i have a coralife unit with 2 actinics and 2 10000w i was wondering when do i need to change the bulbs and how do i know it is time. I purchased the fixture from someone. Is there a test or a way to tell. Thanks also best place to buy the bulbs i know about ebay but i dont know if its good to go cheap.

First of all I think you mean 2 10,000K bulbs. Because if you had 2 10000W bulbs I think you would be getting a visit from people who thought your growing something in your home. Anyway, I change my bulbs every 6 months. PCs loose their full spectrums very quick. I purchase my replacements from Aquatrader.com.

Ps I'm from Philly. What part do you live in?
