Sub-Adult Emperor Angel FS

I need to get rid of my Angel. I've decided to more my LPS into my display and that requires that I get rid of this fish. He'll be ok with sps and stinging LPS, But he'll take apart other LPS and has nipped at clams in the past. I've raised this fish from a small Juv and he's very hardy.

Right now the fish is in the sump and I would like to get rid of him today. Call me at 585-754-7774 for more details. The price is negotiable. I am really just looking for a good home.

Thanks
Scott

I will also accept trades of coral or equipment.

This would be a great fish for a FOWLR or a dedicated SPS system.

Thanks

That would be a little risky. I think eventually there will be some aggression between them if not right away. JMO

Not only would I not recommend it I would not sell it to someone who already has a large angel...Pomacanthus, or otherwise in the tank that they intend to house this fish in.

Sorry

This is a great fish. I am sure someone could give it a good home. All aquariums I have ever seen that house an Emperor Angel, the angel is always the centerpiece of the tank.

Wish I had my 240g upgrade up and running... I'd take him in a heartbeat...

How big of a tank do you have to put him in? I won't sell him to anyone who has less than a 180 to house this fish.

Tomorrow early evening or sometime on Saturday would work.

As for equipment I was looking for either a 4 ft T5 fixture or a calcium reactor. This fish isn't an even trade so I would be able to make the difference up.

I would love it but I can't afford it to eat one of my birthday presents... the Derasa clam.

Yep, thats the risk you run with any angel in the reef.

One thing that I'm already missing about the angel is the aiptasia control. I never saw even the slightest trace of aiptasia when the angel was in the display. Now its coming out of everywhere.

Ok.... While I am looking to get this fish a new home I'm not willing to do it at a loss.

Just trying to keep the post on the front page so that it can be seen.
