This work for a 70 watt HQI bulb?

It looks like it. If you get one let everyone know how it works that is real inexpensive for a UL listed electronic ballast. I'm going to bookmark that site for later.

his is HID ballast not HQI i don't think this gona work but maybe i'm wrong..

It says MH on the ballast and on their website. Should work just fine. Thanks for the link, I think I can afford the T-5 setup I want to do now.

The Ballastwise ballast is for MH. HID (High Intensity Discharge) is a term that encompasses many different types of gas discharge bulbs, including metal halide. HQI (Mercury (should be Hg) Quartz Iodide) is just the chemical makeup inside the bulb.
I use this ballast now, and it works fine. |
