Forget Halides and LED's, I want plasma
Just came across this article, seems pretty awesome.
It is a plasma light bulb that leap frogs most of what is available in lighting today, check out the video. It has twice the efficiency of LED's, and the ability to pump a lot of juice through a single bulb. Someone should run out and patent the idea of lighting aquariums with plasma bulbs so we can have a replay of the led thing.

That was sweet i cant wait to see these are the market but im sure they are going to make leds look cheap!!!
