Hawaii Black Tang/Yellow and Chevron question

1) The Tang police will shut me down for asking.
Anyone here ever have success with a Black Hawaii tang
and a yellow tang in the same tank?
If so what size tank?
I am just curious.....

2) Also if anyone has pics of their chevron tangs please post here.
They are still my favorite Tang.

For those two Zebrasoma (the black and yellow), it can really depend. If you find two that will tolerate each other, somewhere in the 150-180 range is credible. If you find a pair that show aggression, no size tank may be large enough.

I have a scopas and purple in the same tank and have been as such for almost a year now.

The trick for me was adding them at the same time. They don't fight, and never did, they used to school, but now school with different fish due to some later additions.

I do have plans to attempt to add approximately 5 more zebrasoma tangs into my larger system in the future. I will be adding them all at the same time post-quarentine.

I have a purple and a yellow in the same 225. Some postering in the begining but now they swim around together. I added them at the same time. The yellow is slightly larger than the purple. I'm pretty sure if you don't add them at the same time you're S.O.L.

I saw a video on you-tube, werea guy had a few yellow, and a few black tangs in the same tank. But it was a huge tank, it had to be at least 500g (could have been much bigger though I am not sure). But he had many of each, he also had a hybrid that was yellow and black, it was pretty cool. I will try to fi9nd the video.

I currently have a yellow an hybrid yellow scopas and a black all in the same tank.

Both yellows were introduced at the same time and same sizes. The Black is bigger so no issues.
