whats on my zoas... pics
Just curious as to what the purple stuff growing on my zoas is... could it be from the colt/kenya coral... maybe a pest? |

I hope I'm wrong, but it looks like cyanobacteria... that stuff can take over (currently battling it in my own tank)... use a turkey baster to blast it off. Does it look kinda slimy, or like it's holding bubbles?

Cyano for sure..but don't see it anywhere else..would do regular water changes..with a nano shouldn't be hard..will go away in time..

ok thanks everyone... i had a small clump of hair algae that slowly went away on its own... i do 1 gallon water changes a week... thanks again
