red slime algae problem
my water is good. nitrate 0to5, nitrite 0,calcium 420 phosphate 0.005mg/l, ammonia 0 alkilinty 2.8, p.h. 8.2 salinaty1.022, running 4 t5 ho 10 hours a day. 55gal tank with aprox.55 to 60 pounds of live rock 20gal ref. with calupra coral life protein skimmer rated for up to 65gal. plenty of water flow.corals and fish are growing and doing fine. i feed fish twice a day 4 days a week and corals once 3 times a week . algae is mainly on bottom but ive noticed a little on rocks. any one know how to solve my problem.

I don't have personal experience, but some friends have tried shutting off lights completely for 2-3 days and manually siphoning it off. Mine got so bad that I had to resort to red slime remover.

cut back feeding to 1 time a day and increase water current in tank

Coralife Super Skimmers really aren't the best option out there, and that would be the first area I would address. Assuming there are no dead zones in the tank, and you don't overfeed. Also, the manufacturer tank ratings are always over ambitious. I would look for something rated for twice your tank volume.
btw... your SG is on the low side IMO, especially if you're running a reef tank. I would recommend moving it up to 1.0265. Good luck.
