stocking fish

Here is what I have (although not all in the 150, 2 are in QT)
percula pair
mystery wrasse
yellow watchman goby
chevron tang
blue hippo tang

I would like a school of fish. Would it be to much bioload to add 5-7 more fish? I was thinking chromis, but I really would like bartlett's anthias. I think I need to add them all at once right? It will be a while before I get new fish because I am tired of caring for a bunch of tanks and fish in QT.

I think a school of chromis would be beautiful in your tank. Hopefully they won't pick each other off like they tend to do. I don't have any experience with bartletts so I'll let someone else address that. The chromis you should add all at once.

Neither fish will school. The chromis are likely to progressively pick off the weakest and winnow down the group.

Anthias form Harems not schools, and I think you are supposed add them in odd numbers.

I would get Anthias. I have 5 in my 120 and they look great! They are almost always together. Barletts are beautiful!
