I found bleach, and washing away but the way I do it is wash once with the bleach cause I go overkill with like a cup of bleach and run it with hot water and usually a second wash with cold water with just water.

how do you clean you filter bag?

When exposed to air; bleach (chlorine) breaks down really fast. Wash then rinise. Then let air dry. You won't have any issues. Been doing that way for years.

I also turn socks/filter bag wrong side out at first cycle then flip them back for final rinse.

I have also done the once with bleach, once without washing cycle for months without issue. I usually let mine sit outside for a week to ensure there is no residual bleach (the extra time just makes me feel better.)

I believe clorox is synonymous with bleach. "Clorox with bleach" just sounds like a marketing gimmick.
