What would you pay for this tank?

It's a 20L set up. I want to get it for a frag tank. I attached a picture of it

The tank is drilled with a 15 G sump (they upgraded the sump from the picture and the tank is drilled), stand, plumbing, T5 24" lighting, and OceanRunner 2500 return pump.

What would be a good price? I know there are currently a lot of tank sales, especially in Minnesota.

Thank you

What are they asking for the set-up? It would be easier to say whether it was reasonable or not.

Is it used? If all is new I would pay about $250 max, $100 used.

It's used.

If I had to break it down, I'd say:

20L with baffles and acrylic box =20
15 sump = 10
Plumbing= 5
Stand with electrical, decent = 50
Light 40-75 (depends how old bulbs are)
Pump 25

Total ~$150

If it were me personally, I'd offer $175, if they are smart they'll accept, it appears to be a nice set-up & everything is there to get started so it's pretty much plug & play......what people need to realize is that no matter what it cost for them to buy it new, aquarium set-ups to me are like brand new cars, they are expensive to buy but the minute you "drive them off the lot" they depreciate in value substantially.........

Frankly I feel that $175 is even much. That is very reminiscent of the "DIY Nano" I setup all with parts from Wal-Mart and my cost was probably around that once I started the cycling process.

I see ones just like that on CL in my area for $100 and under.

I have a buddy who just bought a full running FOWLR 115g with 45g sump, 6 bulb Icecap T5 for $200.

I think $150 is pushing it, offer a $100 then walk away.

With the lights and pump its worth about $150 used IMO. Its seems like a nice setup with quality equipment, but the facts are for SW its considered a tiny tank.

Id agree with $100-150. The stand "looks" nice, but it's hard to tell without actually seeing it or knowing what it's made of. Are the lights a 4 bulb or 2 bulb fixture? How long was everything used for?

Id pay 175. Gotta make it worth it to him to get rid of it. For 100 bucks id rather have it collect dust.

It depends on where you live and what's available to you. In my case, used tanks are rare around here, and shipping a new one would add a significant amount to a purchase price. I think $150-175 is reasonable if you are in my situation.
