Burrowing Clam?
So ive had my clam for about two months and all is well its been growing.
I moved it a about 2 inches back from where it was and it burrowed itself all the way down so just its mantle was sticking out. Is this common? ![]()

sounds like it is trying to mount itself on the tank floor. Put a piece of rubble under it for it to stick it's foot to.

+1 on the above post, but i want to add. theres nothing wrong with it burrowing. many clams have only their mantle showing while the rest of the clam is in the sand or tucked in a crevice
