Can I dip my clam in revive?
I just bought a huge clam. The tank it was in had flat worms. I'd like to dip it in revive. Anyone know if it'd hurt the clam?
Thanks! |

I wouldn't do it. Since the clam will "breath" the solution in I would guess it would hurt it.

If you system is running properly, the flatworms shouldn't be able to survive anyway. They are typically found in systems with very high nutrient levels.

I'm planning on getting a small clam off liveaquaria in the near future. probably a maxima clam.
Because I shouldn't dip the clam but should QT it, do I need light for my QT? I have a pretty weak T5 light. 2x24w that I could put over the QT. Other than that it will just have to suffer from low light while in my QT... Is that fine?
