29G SPS tank...would one MP10 be enough flow?
Says from 200-1575 GPH from one MP10. At full flow thats 52x flow per hour. Would that give me enough flow without any dead spots?

I have one in my 29g and it is more than enough. I have the return nozzle at the other end of the tank to help create even more random flow.

I asked the same question about a 33 gallon recently, and many told me that 2x mp10 would be best or even an mp20/mp40. My plan currently is to pick up a single mp10 and get the second one in a few months when I start adding more coral

I have a 20G and plan an MP10 for it. Love the MP40Ws in my 125. Vortechs rock!

There are lots of nice tanks in the nano forum with one MP10 for flow... I think I have only seen a couple with more.

It would depend on your aquascape. If you went with a very open scape with minimal rock it would be fine. If you like a lot of rock I would say you need something in addition to the mp10 to prevent dead spots.

I think you'll be ok with a single MP10. I have 2 in a 55gal, and it's a lot of flow.

more than enough... if you have a return that you can direct toward dead spots.
