Basement sump. Need energy effecient pump advice.
I was thinking of putting my sump in our basement. I was wondering if there is a somewhat energy efficient pump to use for the return? It will be traveling about 15 feet. I would appreciate any help. TY

I can say this as a start, my gen-x 40 draws less than 1 amp and still pumps out 500 gph or better @ 12'. It's not the quietest or the loudest.

What size tank do you have? Can you hear the pump from upstairs?
