where to get reefkeeper lite lv.1

They seem to be sold out just about everywhere for the $100 level one reef keeper lite. Did they stop making them? I need to pick up a koralia evo at the same time.

Click on the Sponsor forum at the top of the page and scroll down to Digital Aquatics. You might as well buy it from the manufacturer. They are still $99.00, which includes the head unit, one four outlet strip and a temperature probe.

I'm pretty sure this is because they are releasing v2.0 firmware and only way to update is either sending unit to DA or buying 20bucks port thinggy. I heard firmware is beta and almost finalized? I'm sure DA will resume sending it to vendors once they can ship it w/ new firmware

The lack of availability has nothing to do with tomorrow's release of the public beta release of myReef. They are just out of stock. They are working on getting them out to their dealers and available online, but keeping up with the demand has apparently been a struggle. One of those good problems for a company to have, I guess.

Also, just to clarify, the only part that needs to get sent to DA for updating is the SID programming module. The controller itself does not need any kind of service and can still be left running on your tank. Currently the SID is only used to update modules. Once it has been updated by DA, it will then be the connection point for myReef to talk to your computer and your controller.

Is there an eta as to availability?

Sooner or later people are going to have to move on.
