Hyposalinity and copper

I'm going to copper all the fish in my sig in the near future. I was going to go with hyposalinity (s.g. 1.013) and cupramine simultaneously. The I heard you can't do both at the same time. True or not true, and why?

Thanks in advance!

Personally, I would pick one or the other, they are both effective treatments. I favor copper solely because I don't have to spend a few days bringing the salinity up prior to re-acclimating the fish to the display.

Interesting. Hyposalinity causes low pH which breaks Cupramine into toxic levels.

Thanks for the link and info, Chris. Yeah, I think I'll just go with straight cupramine.

Like was said before, do one or the other, but not both. I prefer hyposalinity personally, but everyone has their own preference.
