we get mangroves from ebay tanu... they're cheap, and get here pretty quick... the LFS wants like 10+ a piece... that's insane...

btw... i just killed off a bunch not that long ago... when i got the bigger skimmer, i took them out of the sump, and never threw them back in... oh well...
ebay... you'll get like 20 of them for 15 bucks or so... just search for mangrove and a bunch of them will come up... the ones that come faster are the ones sent from hawaii... |

um... dudes... it's like 20 of them for 15 bucks shipped...
in my 90g DT i was running it with a wack protein skimmer, but with 45 mangroves at one point... and they did well... it's recommended to put one per every 10 gallons, or if you don't have a good skimmer, throw in one per every 5 gallons... but... if your skimmer works too well, it will start killing off the mangroves... unless you have a HEAVY bio load... or don't do water changes... si... |
