1) What type of tank do you have
2) What type of live stock do you have 3) What is your Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate Levels? |

Ammonia and nitrite should be 0 regardless of livestock. Nitrates should ideally be 0 but most fish will tolerate anything less than 10ppm. Corals can be touchier for nitrate. PH should be 8.1-8.4. Temp needs to be 78-80 and constant. Those are the basic parameters. Phosphates, magnesium, alkalinity , calcium are also important to a reef tank.

How about answering your own questions, and maybe we can help? And a few more questions for you to answer to help us help you:
4) What type of filtration? 5) How old is your set-up? 6) How often do you feed? 7) pH? alk?
