Did this unit sit dry for along time? The membrane can be damaged if left dry for to long.

Are the valves set correctly? see if you can look up a manual online and see if have the valves set up correctly.. if the fellow reefer shut it down properly the membrain stayed wet and probbly just shut off the drain to waste valve thats why you wont get water. also if its a DI unit there bypass valve for that too so look on there mine came with little tags on it.. but not much on telling you with which direction was opend or closed..
im not saying all the time but somtimes the drain to waist valve is black and different from the ro/di valves..

i think the valves are in correctly i have water going into the membrain then it all comes right back out the garbage water spout. nothing comming out of the good water nozzle. i have pulled out the membrain and put it back in again and its still not producing any good water just the waste water?

heres how mine works hopefully this helps from left to right i have ro valve i just keep it closed i only use that for about 5 mins to make a quick gallon after i flushed any how second valve is my di bypass this i close a. when im backflushing water b. when im making ro water to check for lowest tds reading before making to allow my di not to get used up so fast. now i have a pure product port on mine thats where my di water comes out i just put a short tube there and shutoff valve that goes out to my 45gal holding tank. next to the right is the bypass quickflush when its opened 100% water is wasted cleaning the membrain.. when closed it pressurizes my system.. and then next valved i installed is after the saddle valve so i can turn on and off the whole darn thing by closing pure product port and the one just comming into the unit so i can move it up and downstairs.. I hope this helps some.. water pressure helps too.. but please check that you have bypass closed for it to make any water at all..
