Starting my 75 inwall
Well i just got the electric ran for my 75 inwall last week and now im going to start cutting the wall out Tomorrow morning. I had a dedicated line ran for the aquarium its on a 20amp breaker, with 4 outlets all GFI protected. There is also 1 outlet that was there already that is not GFI protected, incase i want to plug anything into a non GFI. So the plan is to measure height of the tank while on the stand and marking the wall where the tank will be. Then im going to take a saws all and start cutting. I was originally going to pull the tank all the way forward so it was flush with the display side of the wall, but now im just going to leave the wall thickness between the front of the tank and the outside wall, which will create alittle shelf infront of the tank. Then i will pull my toplate all the way forward so it is flush with the display side drywall so i wont have a gap between the drywall and the finish trim. I'll be posting updates and pics along the way.

The stand is about a 1/4-1/2 inch outta level due to a raised area in the concrete floor. I'm gonna shim the stand to get it level, would their be any harm in securing the stand to the wall once level?

You can copy/paste the forum code of image shack. Good luck with your aquarium!

Are the picture links not working? Or is copy and pasting the image link to get all the pics in a single thread?

I started my 75 inwall build on Sunday, so far all is going wepl. Got the wall cut out and all framed in, stand and tank are in place and all leveled. I'm having a water Line installed this weekend for my RO unit, which will be mounted on wall next to the tank. I have takin pictures along the way and will be posting them as soon as I can. Stay tuned
