Looking to run a possible stock list past you guys for my 90 gallon mixed reef.
Fish I already have: 2 fancy perculas, 3 green reef chromis Fish I want to add: 1 Kole tang, 1 Copperband Butterfly, 1 or 2 flasher wrasses Down the line: Mandarin once the tank is established and pod population is sufficient Will this be too much fish for the 90? Thanks! |

Looks good. You could also do a flasher and 1 or 2 fairy wrasses

If you don't think that 6 tangs is overstocked for a 90, we are just going to have to agree to disagree -- doesn't matter what the other 8 fish are.

No, I didn't miss it at all.
I am of the belief that you should stock for the tank that you currently have, not one you are planning on setting up. But, if you want to keep 2 P. hepatus, a yellow, what appears to be a sailfin and 2 other tangs in your 90, that is your choice. Just like it is my choice to say that it is overstocked.

Borderline, but not too bad. Personally, though, I would skip the chromis; IME (( and others )) they seem to kill each other off until there is one left.
As for the flame, great fish but not always reef safe -- IME, dwarfs love to eat/nip fleshy corals.

I had a flame for a few weeks but he was picking at my 12" Squamosha so I had to get rid of him.. I agree on the chromis they tend to kill each other or jump out or just dissapear and if they do ever grow they get kinda mean(they are damsels after all)
