setting up my quarantine tank
i tested my water parameters today and it looks like my cycle is almost complete
amm-0 nitrite-0.25 nitrate-less than 5 today i plan to do a big water change, and i was planning to add a couple of small pieces of live rock from DT into my quarantine tank (70 litres-19g) and the water that i remove. I was also going to add the seeded filter sponge from DT into QT as well. In a couple of days im going to buy my lawnmower blenny into QT. Will this suffice him? i was going to add a couple of pieces of rock that had lots of algae growth, but what else will i need to feed him? im worried that QT wont have enough algae in it yet to supplement him |

LR is not needed in a QT setup. just use the seeded sponge and water from the water change. add some PVC pipe for him to hide and your good to go.
for feeding just use some nori (aka sushi seaweed) and regular fish food and he will be fine.
