recycled live sand
I found a guy in the paper is tearing down his reef tank and he has 3 5 gallon buckets full of live sand. I will most likely buy all 3 Yes I'm setting up at 210 gallon reef tank Is there anything I need to do to cure this sand? I have no idea how long it has been sitting in these buckets.

I just gave away 3 buckets of live sand because I didn't want to risk re-using it and releasing hydrogen sulfide build up into the new tank since this sand was used for almost 2 years. If I had to re-use it I would've washed it down A LOT.
