FS/FT Pistol Shrimp
I got the wrong pistol shrimp to pair with my Randall's Goby. I bought a Bullseye Pistol Shrimp, which apparently does NOT form a symbiotic relationship / pair with Gobies. So, he is in my quarantine tank right now.
Willing to trade for SPS Frag or sell for $20 if anyone is interested. Let me know. |

I'm pretty sure that shrimp does form a pair with gobies.

They do not pair with gobies, but they're pretty cool reef-safe critters. Cryptic, and they don't dig much.

Yah, the pistol shrimp pretty much kept to himself and did not even go close to my goby. They lived in separate burrows. Gave back the pistol shrimp to the store.
Also, they dig everywhere and toppled/buried some of the corals in my sandbed. The snapping sound they make with their claws could be heard from my room upstairs. Pretty loud... Debating whether or not to even get a pistol shrimp now, if they cause that much sand displacement.... |
