Question RO/DI filter cartridges all the same?

Hello,

About 10 years ago I used to use a Kent 50 GPD RO unit, but I currently use a filterguys 150 GPD 6 stage unit, and I wanted to know if the filter cartridges are all the same or "Standard"?

The reason I ask is, I found the old Kent system, took off all the tubes and membrane from the unit and I was thinking of using the rest of the unit for a Carbon/GFO unit, but I'd need to buy the inside carbon and GFO holders, but need to know if they are like I said all a set "Standard" size...

Thanks

Most of them are. Just measure your filter thats in there and find the correct size carbon/GFO reactor cartridge from BRS.

Sent from my who cares they all do it now.

Yep, they are. I still use an old Kent model. You could most likely get empty DI cartriges to use.

Kent always used standard-sized filters. Their filter cartridges measured 10" x 2.5" (nominal).

The only RO/DI I've run into that didn't use standard sizes was Culligan. Could only use Culligan filters, maybe that's why it was left behind when I moved ?

Pretty much every other RO/DI is standardized to the same sizes.
