Clownfish got stuck in filter
Hey everyone,
First off thank you for the help. Like my tittle says i woke up and went downstairs only to find the smaller of my mating clownfish stuck in the filter intake. I quickly turned off the filter and he was still alive and is swimming. I dont know how long he was stuck on it. He is now swimming ok ( it looks a bit off but he can still move up and down the water column) I made a makeshift intake cover out of filter sponge. Anything i should do to make sure the fish will be ok? He has a little mark on his side where it is a little different colored but not red colored. Thanks for the help. Sincerely, Michael R

I think you have already taken the correct steps in putting a sponge over the in take. The only other thing I know of that you could do is just watch the fish for the next couple of days or so and make sure he is eating and not being picked on. You may also consider putting him in a QT tank by himself if he seems on the weak side for a few weeks until he is nourished back to normal.
