skunk shrimp molting

How often do these shrimp molt? I've had 2 skunk shrimp in my tank for about 3 weeks, and i've seen 3 molts...I had a small issue with nitrate/nitrites due to a mini-cycle, so i wasn't surprised that they both molted once. I have since dealt with that problem, and i was surprised to see that there was another empty shell in my tank this morning. Is it normal for shrimp to molt every 2 weeks? (give or take)

Thanks!

How much are you feeding? If you're feeding a lot, or they're young/small, that's normal.

They'll molt when they're in a new environment. That includes after a water change sometimes, if the mix water is different or it has been a long time since it was done.

I feed a little in the morning(frozen mix), eheim auto feed of pellets/flakes in afternoon, and then more frozen stuff at night. I do water changes about once a week. Looks like i should be ok then. Thanks!
