is it safe to put digital dosers inside cabinet?

i'm thinking of buying either a Bubble Magus doser or the Profilux doser with built in controller. i was wondering if it is safe to put these units inside my cabinet. my cabinet only has one hole on the back which is about 3" in diameter for the cables. it gets quite humid in there and i wasn't sure if it is safe to put a digital dosers in that humidity.

I have seen it done but personally I wouldn't do it. All of my electronics are outside of the stand. I think that eventually the humidity will destroy it especially with very little ventilation.
Good luck

yea i agree i wouldnt risk it. if you want you can make a cabinet that looks almost like a night stand that sits next to your stand and house it in there. this is what im planning on doing. good luck.

thanks. i'll probably reverse the inlet and outlet so that they face towards the top of the device and then mount the device vertically behind the cabinet's back wall.

i got my doser today when i turned it on, the default language was set to German and i don't speak Deutsch! luckily, the manual came in both German and English and it was simple enough to figure it out and get it changed to English.

here it is in a closet next to the tank.

this shows how far away the closet is from the tank. with the distance between the pump and the aquarium, pump 1 calibrated at 51ml per minute and pump 2 calibrated at 48 ml per minute versus the pumps' spec at 60 ml per minute.
