Question Pumps and waiting for sand to clear

Do I want to leave my filter and power heads running while im waiting for the water to clear from the sand?

Yes, if you don't then when you do turn the power heads back on it will just kick up the fines again.

Yes run them but be sure to rinse out any filter floss/media/cartridges after everything clears, it may clog them up a little

+1 but if you are waiting to scape or do something in the tank, you can turn them off, let things settle, do what you need and then let it kick back up again....
