they are called hawkfish because they think they can fly

I had a flame hawk a while back who jumped into my overflow box and got stuck in the drain pipe. Fast forward 4 months i got a new one friday found him in the overflow chilling like he owns the place. I got him back into the display and did a water change 5 mins later he is back in the overflow box. Anyone have a pic of a way to build a shield or something to prevent this. I have a canopy and i dont think putting a lid over it is a good idea. Anyone have an idea?

Cut out a frame the shape of your overflow from acrylic and attach 1/4" bird screen to it with hot glue or reef safe silicone.

+1 on the bird screen, even build a fram for the entire tak, it blocks the tiniest amount of light and traps no heat eiterh./
