Reef Octopus Bh-1000...Should I or Shouldn't I?!?

So I'm finally about to invest in a good skimmer and have read many good reviews but also a few bad on the Reef Ocotopus Bh 1000. I'm probably ordering in the next few days so just wanted some personal experiences or input on this skmimer..Thanks!

What size tank is this for? I run one on my 37 gal reef and am pretty happy with it. I get lots of dark skimmate every few days. It took at least a month to break in and another couple of weeks for me to dial in properly, but haven't had to touch it much ever since. The instructions that came with it werent very good, but it wasnt too difficult to put together. It is somewhat loud, but I really don't notice it anymore. Overall, I feel it was a good purchase and recommend it for tanks up to about 55 gals.

For a HOB skimmer, I'd say Reef Octopus or AquaMaxx from what I've read. My last skimmer was years ago (tankless ATM), which was an ETS Reef Devil downdraft skimmer. Before that it was a HOB AMiracle with a limewood airstone and a Tetra LuftPump. Before that it was a large dinosaur blowing into a straw. >.>

It is for a 55 gallon standard tank. I'm just now upgrading from a 29 to 55.
