Skimmer Help
Can Anyone Explain The How The Skimmer Dial Works. I Have A BM Nac7 And The Dial Reads From Max To 1. My Skimmer Is Running Really Wet Right Now. I Have It Sitting In 8 1/2 Inches Of Water. Thanks

I'm not sure about your exact skimmer, but the dials generally restrict outlet flow and therefore change the waterline internally on the skimmer. My guess is that max = highest restriction = highest water level, 1 = lowest restriction = lowest water level. (might be the other way around) My advice is to remove the collection cup, and adjust the dial so that it is slightly overflowing or right at the top.

Be careful it's not the opposite, as you might wind up with a mess on your hands.
