So i ran across this website http://www.1023world.net/diy/spectra/ because i was curious how my DIY Leds stacked up. Now i know!
If you've already messed around with this site i would like to see yours as well. The specs of my leds.. My original thought was the classic AI cluster method but with a kick of Violet. Then i thought, man every pic i see of Ecotech's Radion pro's look great! So i added red and green channels. 2 fixtures x 24 led arrays. Each fixture has: White channel: 4 Neutral white cree XPG and 1 Cool white cree XPG driven from a Meanwell 60-48-D (set at 1300ma). Royal Blue channel: 5 Royal Blue XTE driven from a Meanwell 60-48-D (set at 1300ma) Blue channel: 5 Blue XPE driven from a Meanwell 60-48-D (set at 1000ma) Violet channel: 5 rapid led violet UV driven from a Rapid led Nano driver (700ma) Deep Red channel: 2 Rebel ES driven from a Rapid led Nano driver (700ma) Green channel: 2 Cree XPE driven from a Rapid led Nano driver (700ma) All leds have 80 degree optics. Fixtures are at 12" from surface of water. I used 70cm distance on the website because that is how far the fixtures are from sand bed. At my current channel percentage of 45% RB, 45% B, 45% V, 25% white, 25% G, and 25% R. This currently gives me 100-150 PAR on the sandbed and in the 400's on the top of the rocks where the SPS will go. 100% power all channels. This gives me about 200-250 par on the sandbed. i will never run it this high lol.
