Reret10's 40 gallon slow and steady bowfront build
Ok well today at my LFS I found a 40 gallon bowfront saltwater tank with a stand, skimmer, sump and built in electric work for very cheap because the stand needs a new paint job and the tank needs a very thourough clean. I decided to get the tank. At the moment its still at the LFS due to the fact that a 40 gallon tank and stand wont fit in a prius and the lfs is 45 minutes away. i plan on picking it up this weekend. I have a good spot for it but it will require rearanging i can keep the tank in the shed untill i can rearange everything and collect all the rest of the equptment. I dont have a job because of school and child labor laws so i have to do yardwork and other chores for money. that explains the title slow and steady build. I have some money saved up and many friends in the hobby so i should be able to find enough money for the lights and other things I need. I rarely buy cheap alternatives to good supplies because most of the time theirs a reason its cheaper. well it won be the most interesting built at first but I think in the next few months it should get more interesting. I will post pics when I get the tank.. ...so in the next few days.
