Aqueon Evolve 8 mods

Does anyone know of a good pump upgrade? I tried a Maxi Jet 600, but it is way too noisy, and the vibration is way too much. The stock pump is rattling really bad all of a sudden. I took it apart and there is nothing that seemed to be causing it. My poor sexy shrimp.

So I need a new pump. Any ideas?

I was thinking of an Eheim compact 600. It's a little overpriced ( like all of their pumps) but if it works I guess I can deal with that.
