Single Species Coral Tank??
I just had the good fortune (or if you ask my wife, the rotten luck) to win a 29 Gallon Biocube. I already have a 110 that is cycling up for an SPS dominated tank.
I'm thinking about setting up the 29 with a single coral species that I can really grow out. I've successfully kept a 29 with SPS so I'm not afraid of the smaller size. So, what coral would you choose as a single species for the tank.

Zoa-Paly garden, can't go wrong there. A euphyllia tank with multiple varieties is always nice as well. If money isn't an issue then an Acan tank with a dozen or more varieties would be really cool and a good way to earn extra cash for more sps for your big DT tank. Anemone tanks are really cool as well with great motion and flow. Maybe ricordea tank, those are sweet. My girlfriend says a tank covered with galaxia or GSP with awesome aquascape, I say that could be reminiscent of a freshwater tank covered in swaying grass. Maybe that last one would be cool with rolling hills and a couple huge rocks coming out of it that are trimmed constantly to be the only coral free surface in the tank with some open water swimming fish, that sounds pretty awesome.

I would say either Zoas or Ricordias.
You can't lose either way.

Mini Formosa Forrest, LOL! Can't get stix off the brain, Sorry. Euphylia would be a good choice as well. I like zoas, but zoa exclusive tanks seem to lack a certain dynamic that branching type corals provide.....

Montipora. Easy care, growth. Get a purple or blue. One large colony. Would look like a bonzai tree if done correctly

I've been seriously contemplating doing a euphylia-only tank with a spare 29-gallon I have lying around...love the movement!
