is it ok to use a Sump Pump?
this pump in particular:

even tho it says corrosion resistant, i dont think it will last long with salt water...

hmm, good point, I could use it to transfer the rodi water from the tank downstairs to a mixing cannister upstairs.

My sump pump specifically states not for use in salt water. you might have to find one that is made for corrosive environments. Most are not.

Just pick up a used return pump. Should be able to find a fairly powerful one for under a hundred. If you need the float shut off those are easily added.

I am doing the same as you. I think if you flush out the internals after you pump the saltwater....you will be ok. Just don't let it sit.
