Please help me find out what this is !!
My sister's friend gave us a tank and rocky terrain and a clownfish.
We recently found some worm-like hairy things coming out of rocks and things. We have now found out that it is a starfish !! I did some research and it looks like a brittle starfish. We also have a crab and a sea urchin in there. Plus more tentacle-like things. 1. We are wondering if this starfish is dangerous to the clownfish or whether it is alright to leave them in there? The starfish is pretty big and we aren't sure how much bigger it'll get. 2. Does anyone know what that thing between the rocks in the LAST photo is? It hasn't come out like the other starfish. |

The last picture looks like a bristle worm. They eat meaty bits, can get very big. That said they are a good part of cleanup crew. I have one that pokes out at night sometimes.
The next to last pic may be a peanut worm? I'll defer on the brittle star. I don't have any experience with them.
