Apex Jr. Vs Apex

So I need some opinions from those seasoned Apex users. Looking at getting an Apex of some type. Here is what I want to do with it:

Main Focus:
- Control Temperature and monitor Temp remotely

In the Future:
-Monitor Salinity/Water level
-Monitor PH

My question is, will the Apex Jr work and allow me up upgrade down the road (like a year) or is it cheaper to get the full blown Apex?

Lets look at it this way The Apex will do everything you want to do now and in the future with the purchase or make your own of an breakout box The Jr. will require you to buy 2 different pm modules one for salinity and one for PH then. As most progress in the hobby the JR only has 4 outlets. The Jr can be expanded, but only with a maximum of 5 modules and the display counts as one module. See the link below under full details

I guess it depends a bit on whether you expect to be in the reefing game for the long run. Given you're a 2008-er I'd suggest the full Apex. I bought the lite, when it was still available, but would in retrospect have gone full. It's a very cool piece of gear and very hard, for me at least, to resist buying all the associated gizmos.

Take it from somebody who was of the same mindset as you when I was making the same decision - get the full Apex. The extra outlets alone are worth the price difference.
