RSM 250 vs individual

Im considering purchasing a red sea max 250. However i have a doubt... whats the better option for me.. the red sea max 250 or would it be a better option to buy everything individually? And what pros and cons could there be for either or

The new RSM is a pretty good all in one. I had the previous model and the skimmer was a pain to control. Any evaporation or increase in water level would set it off. Dollar for dollar you'll spend less money with this all in one.

Thanks for the info, after some debate with my honey im gonna go for a 80g starfire tank and build it up.
