Ritteri Anemone
I want to give this a try. I have an established 55 with a few corals, and 4 fish.
Is a 55 too small? Can it move rocks? |

Magnifica anemone (formerly Ritteri) is a very difficult animal to acclimate. Unless you are willing to treat it in a hospital tank with antibiotics, perhaps multiple time, I'd suggest that it may well be impossible. It is not an animal for the novice reefer and I'd suggest you'd be better served by going with a Bubble Tip. Much easier to keep. Anemones will not rearrange the rock (like an urchin can, for example) but if unhappy may move around your tank. Mags have a strong sting and will kill anything their tentacles can reach. A moving anemone can also become a puréed anemone if it can reach a power head.
