Dead 250w Blue Wave 3 Ballast
I have 3 Blue Wave 3 Ballasts running my 6' Maristar fixture and apparently something is wrong with one of them. 2 of them are happily "buzzing" along powering 2 of the 3 Phoenix bulbs. The 3rd however is quiet and not firing the bulb. The controller does show a slight amp draw though. I pulled the capacitor which is a 20 micro farad unit and multimeter shows 20.12 micro farads. The ignitor is a CD-17c and I have no idea on how to test it.
I know these ballasts are rebuildable, but I am not finding parts for an M80 ballast, only M58, etc... Any ideas? Thanks, Eugene
