In other news, I don't know what that is, but it is quite interesting.

I have something like the first one on my rocks, and have been trying to figure it out. Was thinking maybe a baby version of this sponge? http://www.melevsreef.com/critters/white-sponge but mine aren't just in dark places...
Hoping someone settles it for us.

And yeah, they're doin it. That's why snails are better than hermits, they make love while crabs make murder

Thanks guys, eventually Google Images showed me what I was looking for. Apparently this is a Tiger Cowry Snail and that white hands are part of the Mantle Tissue.... Cool!

As far as Snail Sexy time goes, I guess they like the new digs!

Definitely a cowrie, and definitely snail sex. I hope you got their permission to film that.

Lately I noticed my snails doing the same thing, except they always seem to be on opposite sides of the tank?

I eventually notice quite a few baby snails. Always figured they were somehow doing "IT".

I imagine the fact that these two were on top of each other was a coincidence. Usually they just shoot their DNA into the current all willy-nilly.
