I bought a radion mount light kit
I was suprised by the weight of this when installed. Can it cause the glass on my tank to seperate? The glass isnt the thickest. Have a 40 breeder i heard someone reporting theres drooped Would that bw enough to sprink a leak? |

I wouldn't trust the $1/ gallon tanks with that kind of stress on the glass. I just filled a new 10 gallon tonight to hold some corals I have coming inbound and it started leaking from the seam without anything hanging on the glass and half full. While I'm sure for the most part these tanks will work fine, I simply wouldn't put any added stress on them as they are really under built. But for a buck a gallon, what can we expect.

I have an AIO 29 gallon. I tried it once and didn't feel comfortable having all that stress on such a thin glass. I ended up getting a hanging kit.
